Academic Unit Head Monthly Meetings
Once a month, the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs invites academic unit heads to discuss important topics. This meeting is for administrators who are responsible for faculty recruitment, promotion and tenure, faculty evaluation, faculty oversight, faculty development, curriculum and instruction management, student success, unit-level strategic planning, budgets, and infrastructure. Typically, these are department heads, division heads, school directors, DAAs, and institute directors who oversee direct faculty reporting lines. Meetings are held virtually through Penn State’s Zoom platform.
